1)
The day it arrives, no soul shall speak except by His leave: of those
(gathered) some will be
wretched and some will be
blessed.( Surah 11, Hud, verse 105).
2)
We created not the heavens, the earth, and all between them, but for just ends.
And the Hour is surely coming (when this will be manifest). So overlook (any
human faults) with gracious forgiveness. (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 85).
3) But celebrate the praises of
thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration.
And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee
the Hour that is certain. (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verses 98-99).
4) Warn them of the Day that is
(ever) drawing near, when the hearts will (come) right up to the
Throats to choke (them); No
intimate friend nor intercessor will the wrong-doers have, who could be
listened to. (Surah40, Al-Mumin, verse 18).
5) We will, without doubt, help
our messengers and those who believe, (both) in this world´s life and on the
Day when the Witnesses will stand forth, - (Surah 40, Al-Mumin, verse 51).
6) Of no profit to you will be
your relatives and your children on the Day of Judgment: He will judge between
you: for Allah sees well all that ye do. (Surah 60, Al-Mumtahanah, verse 3).
7) But to no soul will Allah
grant respite when the time appointed (for it) has come; and Allah is well acquainted
with (all) that ye do. (Surah 63, Al-Munafiqun, verse 11).
8) That Day shall ye be brought
to Judgment: not an act of yours that ye hide will be hidden. (Surah 69,
Al-Haqqah, verse 18).
9) That Day will Man be told
(all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. Nay, man will be evidence
against himself (Surah 75, Al Qiyamat, verse 13-14)
10) Each one of them, that Day,
will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. (Surah
80, Abasa, verse 37).
11) (It will be) the Day when no
soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command that Day, will
be (wholly) with Allah. (Surah 82, Al Infitar, verse 19).
12) The Day that
(all) things secret will be tested, (Man) will have no power, and no helper. (Surah
86, Al Tariq, verses 9-10).
13) And the Book (of Deeds) will
be placed (before you); and thou wilt see the sinful in great terror because of
what is (recorded) therein; they will say, "Ah! Woe to us! What a Book is
this! It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!"
They will find all that they did, placed before them: And not one will thy Lord
treat with injustice. (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verse 49).
14) The Day that We
roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed), - even as We
produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have
undertaken: truly shall We fulfil
it. (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyya, verse 104).
15) The Day ye shall see it, every
mother giving suck shall forget her suckling- babe, and every pregnant female shall
drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not
drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah.(Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 2).
16) O mankind! if ye have a doubt
about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of
sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed
and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We
cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring
you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength;
and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old
age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou
seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is
stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in
pairs). (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 5).
17) And verily the Hour will
come: there can be no doubt about it, or about (the fact) that Allah will raise
up all who are in the graves. (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 7).
18) And the Day that the Trumpet
will be sounded – then will be smitten with terror those who are in the heavens,
and those who are on earth, except such as Allah will please (to exempt): and
all shall come to His (Presence) as beings conscious of their lowliness. (Surah
27, An-Naml, verse 87).
19) Hearken ye to your Lord,
before there come a Day which there will be no putting back, because of (the
Ordainment of) Allah. that Day there will be for you no place of refuge nor
will there be for you any room for denial (of your sins)!(Surah 42, Al-Shura,
verse 47).
20) And thou wilt see every sect
bowing the knee: Every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye
be recompensed for all that ye did! (Surah 45, Al-Jathiya, verse 28).
21) It will also be said:
"This Day We will forget you as ye forgot the meeting of this Day of yours!
And your abode is the Fire, and no helpers have ye! (Surah 45, Al-Jathiya,
verse 34).
22) The (Judgment) ever
approaching draws nigh: No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. (Surah 53,
An-Najm, verses 57-58).
23) When the Event Inevitable
cometh to pass, then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. (Many)
will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; When the earth shall be shaken to its
depths, And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, (Becoming dust scattered
abroad, And ye shall be sorted out into three classes Then (there will be) the
Companions of the Right Hand; - What will be the Companions of the Right Hand?
And the Companions of the Left Hand, - what will be the Companions of the Left
Hand? And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). (Surah
56, Al-Waqi’ah, verses 1 to 10).
24) (Those without) will call
out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! But
ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted
((Allah) ´s Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued
the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah. "This Day shall no ransom be accepted of
you, nor of those who rejected Allah. Your abode is the Fire: that is the proper
place to claim you: and an evil refuge it is!" Has not the time arrived
for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance
of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they
should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long
ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious
transgressors. (Surah 57, Al-Hadid, verses 14-15-16).
25) Though they will be put in
sight of each other, - the sinner´s desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself
from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children, His wife and his
brother, His kindred who sheltered him, and all, all that is on earth, - so it
could deliver him: By no means! For it would be the Fire of Hell! - Plucking
out (his being) right to the skull! - Inviting (all) such as turn their backs
and turn away their faces (from the Right). And collect (wealth) and hide it
(from use)! (Surah 70, Al-Ma’arij, verses 11 to 18).
26) So leave them to plunge in
vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they
have been promised! (Surah 70,
Al-Ma’arij, verse 42).
27) Leave Me alone, (to deal)
with the (creature) whom I created (bare and) alone! - To whom I granted resources
in abundance, and sons to be by his side!-(To whom I made (life) smooth and
comfortable! Yet is he greedy-that I should add (Yet more); - (Surah 74,
Al-Mudassir, verses 11 to 15).
28) That Day will Man be told
(all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. Nay, man will be evidence
against himself (Surah 75, Al-Qiyamah, verse 13-14).
29) The Day that the Trumpet
shall be sounded, and ye shall come forth in crowds; and the heavens shall be
opened as if there were doors, and the mountains shall vanish, as if they were
a mirage. Truly Hell is as a place of ambush-For the transgressors a place of
destination: They will dwell therein for ages. (Surah 78, Al-Naba’, verses 18
to 23).
30) Woe to those that deal in
fraud,-Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full
measure, But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than
due. Do they not think that they will be called to account? - On a Mighty Day,
A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? (Surah 83,
Al-Mutaffifin, verses 1 to 6).
31) And Hell, that Day, is
brought (face to face), - on that Day will man remember, but how will that
remembrance profit him? He will say: "Ah! Would that I had sent forth
(good deeds) for (this) my (Future) Life!" For, that Day, His Chastisement
will be such as none (else) can inflict, And His bonds will be such as none
(other) can bind. (Surah 89, Al-Fajr, verses 23 to 26).
32) On that Day will men proceed
in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). Then shall
anyone who has done an atom´s weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done
an atom´s weight of evil, shall see it. (Surah 99, Al-Zilzalah, verse 6-7-8).
33) The mutual rivalry for piling
up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), until
ye visit the graves. But nay, ye soon
shall know (the reality). Again, ye soon shall know! Nay, were ye to know with
certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) Ye shall certainly see Hellfire! Again,
ye shall see it with certainty of sight! Then, shall ye be questioned that Day
about the joy (ye indulged in!). (Surah 102, Al-Takasur, verses 1 to 8).
34) (From) the Lord of the
heavens and the earth, and all between, (Allah) Most Gracious: None shall have
power to argue with Him. The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand
forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by ((Allah)) Most
Gracious, and He will say what is right. That Day will be the sure Reality:
Therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) return to his Lord! (Surah 78,
Al-Nabaa, verses 37-38-39).
35) Then guard yourselves against
a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted
for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped
(from outside) (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 48)
36)
And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will
be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a
just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the
least). (Surah 39, Al-Zumar, verse 69).
37) On
the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness
against them as to their actions. (Surah 24, Al-Nur, verse 24).
38) Narrated Ibn Abu Mulaika: Whenever 'Aisha (the wife of the
Prophet) heard anything which she did not understand, she used to ask again
till she understood it completely. Aisha said: "Once the Prophet (Peace be
upon him) said, "Whoever will be called to account (about his deeds on the
Day of Resurrection) will surely be punished." I said, "Doesn't Allah
say: "He surely will receive an easy reckoning." (84.8) The Prophet (Peace
be upon him) replied, "This means only the presentation of the accounts
but whoever will be argued about his account, will certainly be ruined." (Sahih

Publications).
40) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said,
"Seven people will be shaded by Allah under His shade on the day when
there will be no shade except His. They are:
(1) a just ruler; (2) a young man who has been brought up
in the worship of Allah, (i.e. worship Allah (Alone) sincerely from his
childhood), (3) a man whose heart is attached to the mosque (who offers the
five compulsory congregational prayers in the mosque); (4) two persons who love
each other only for Allah's sake and they meet and part in Allah's cause only;
(5) a man who refuses the call of a charming woman of noble birth for an
illegal sexual intercourse with her and says: I am afraid of Allah; (6) a
person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what
his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity).
(7) a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes
get flooded with tears." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 2, Book 24, Number
504: Book of Tax [Zakat]) (Islambase Publications).
41) Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon
him) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell,
they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will
retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and
when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise.
By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is, everybody will recognize his
dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this
world." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 620: Book of
Oppressions [Zulm; Fitna]) (Islambase Publications).
42) Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz Almazini: While I was walking with
Ibn 'Umar holding his hand, a man came in front of us and asked, "What
have you heard from Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) about An-Najwa?"
Ibn 'Umar said, "I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'Allah will bring a
believer near Him and shelter him with His Screen and ask him: Did you commit
such-and-such sins? He will say: Yes, my Lord. Allah will keep on asking him
till he will confess all his sins and will think that he is ruined. Allah will
say: 'I did screen your sins in the world and I forgive them for you today',
and then he will be given the book of his good deeds. Regarding infidels and
hypocrites (their evil acts will be exposed publicly) and the witnesses will
say: These are the people who lied against their Lord. Behold! The Curse of
Allah is upon the wrongdoers." (11.18) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3,

43) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said,
"Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or
anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection

deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which
he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will

began the first creation, We shall repeat it. A promise We have undertaken:
Truly we shall do it...” (21.104) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) then said,
"The first of the human beings to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection,
will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought and then (the
angels) will drive them to the left side (Hell-Fire). I will say. 'O my Lord!
(They are) my companions!' Then a reply will come (from Almighty), 'You do not
know what they did after you.' I will say as the pious slave (the Prophet
Jesus) said: And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them. When You
took me up. You were the Watcher over them and You are a Witness to all
things.' (5.117) Then it will be said, "These people have continued to be
apostates since you left them." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number

Publications).
45) Narrated Abu
Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "On the Day of
Resurrection Death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white
ram. Then a call maker will call, 'O people of Paradise!' Thereupon they will
stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know
this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' By then all of them will have seen
it. Then it will be announced again, 'O people of Hell!' They will stretch
their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know this?' They
will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' And by then all of them will have seen it. Then
it (that ram) will be slaughtered and the caller will say, 'O people of
Paradise! Eternity for you and no death O people of Hell! Eternity for you and
no death."' Then the Prophet (Peace be upon him) recited: -- 'And warn
them of the Day of distress when the case has been decided, while (now) they
are in a state of carelessness (i.e. the people of the world) and they do not

undertaken and truly We shall do it.' and added, "The first man who will
be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my
followers will be brought and taken towards the left side, whereupon I will
say, 'O Lord, (these are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know
what new things they introduced (into the religion) after you.' I will then say
as the righteous pious slave, Jesus, said, 'I was a witness over them while I
dwelt among them... (to His Statement)..And You are the Witness to all things.'
(5.117) Then it will be said, '(O Muhammad) These people never stopped to

forth the severest Hour, and then all the Believers, men and women, will
prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to
prostrate in the world for showing off and for gaining good reputation. Such
people will try to prostrate (on the Day of Judgment) but their backs will be
as stiff as if it is one bone (a single vertebra)." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume
6, Book 60, Number 441: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer])
(Islambase Publications).
48) Narrated
Al--Amash: Abu Huraira said, "Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said,
'Between the two sounds of the trumpet, there will be forty." Somebody
asked Abu Huraira, "Forty days?" But he refused to reply. Then he
asked, "Forty months?" He refused to reply. Then he asked,
"Forty years?" Again, he refused to reply. Abu Huraira added.
"Then (after this period) Allah will send water from the sky and then the
dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows, There is nothing of the human body
that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the

to his Lord till He will shelter him in His screen and say: Did you commit
such-and-such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' Then Allah will say: Did you commit such
and such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' So Allah will make him confess (all his sins)
and He will say, 'I screened them (your sins) for you in the world, and today I
forgive them for you."' (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 73, Number 96: Book

"The first cases to be decided among the people (on the Day of
Resurrection) will be those of blood-shed." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume
9, Book 83, Number 4: Book of Blood Money [Ad-Diyat]) (Islambase Publications).
51) It is
narrated o the authority of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (May peace be
upon him) observed: Three are the (persons) with whom Allah would neither speak
on the Day of
Resurrection,
nor would look at them nor would absolve the and there is a painful
chastisement for them. The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) repeated
it three times. Abu Dharr remarked: They failed and they lost; who are these
persons, Messenger of Allah? Upon this he (the Holy) Prophet) observed: They
are: the dragger of lower garment, the recounter of obligation and the seller
of goods by false oath. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Faith, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadees No
