Omnipotence of Allah (Bari Taqat Wala, Kamil Akhtiarat Wala)

1) And of all things He hath perfect knowledge. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah or the Heifer, verse 29 [last part]).
2) When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I respond to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me : Let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in me : that they may walk in the right way. (Surah 2, Al- Baqarah or the Heifer, Verse 186).
3) And know that Allah is strict in punishment. (Surah 2, Al Baqarah or the Heifer, End of Verse 196).
4) Then fight in the cause of Allah, and know that Allah heareth and knoweth all things. (Surah Al- Baqarah or the Heifer, Verse 244).
5) And did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, the earth would indeed be full of mischief: but Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds. (Surah 2, Al- Baqarah or the Heifer, Verse 251, End).
6) Whether you show what is in your minds or conceal it, Allah calleth you to account for it. He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and punisheth whom He pleaseth. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah or The Heifer, verse 284, part).
7) From Allah, verily nothing is hidden on earth or in the heavens. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 5).
8) And Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou pleases, without measure. (Surah 3, Al- Imran Verse 27 Part).
9) Say: ‘All bounties are in the hand of Allah: He granteth them to whom He pleaseth: and Allah careth for all, and He knoweth all things.’ (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 73).
10) And Allah means no injustice to any of His creations. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 108 part).
11) To Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth.  (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 180 Part).
12) If it were His Will, He could destroy you, Oh mankind, and create another race; for He hath power this to do (Surah 4, An-Nisa, Verse 133).
13) What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good) and knoweth all things. (Surah 4, An-Nisa, Verse 147).
14) On the day when Allah will gather the Messengers together, and ask: ‘What was the response ye received (from men to your teaching)?’ they will say: ‘we have no knowledge: it is Thou who knowest in full all that is hidden.’ (Surah 5, Al-Maida, Verse 109).
15) And behold! Allah will say: “Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, ‘take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah’?” he will say: ‘glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it....’ (Surah 5, Al-Maida, Verse 116, Part).
16) If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He: if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things! (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 17).
17) With Him are the keys of the Unseen, the treasures that none knoweth but He. He knoweth whatever there is on the earth and in the sea. Not a leaf doth fall but with His knowledge: there is not a grain in the darkness (or depths) of the earth, nor anything fresh or dry (green or withered), but is (inscribed) in a Record clear (to those who can read). (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 59).
18) It is He who created the heavens and the earth with truth.... (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 73 Part).
19) Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth: how can He have a son when He hath no consort? ’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 101, Part).
20) No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. 20) Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth: how can He have a son when He hath no consort? ’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 103 Part).
21) The Word of thy Lord doth find its fulfilment in truth and in justice: none can change His Words. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 115, Part).
22) Then (on the Day of Reckoning) shall We question those to whom Our Message was sent and those by whom We sent it. And verily, We shall recount their whole story with knowledge, for We were never absent (at any time or place). (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verses 6 and 7).
23) ....He said: ‘I afflict My Punishment on whom I will; but My Mercy extendeth to all things. That (Mercy) I shall ordain for those who do right, and pay Zakat and those who believe in Our Signs.... (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 156, Part).
24) Say: ‘Oh men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominions of the heavens and the earth; there is no god but He: it is he that giveth both life and death. (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 158, Part).
25) ....Nor is hidden from the Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heaven. And not the smallest and not the greatest of these things but are recorded in a clear Record. (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 61 Part).
26) If Allah do touch thee with hurt, there is none can remove it but He: if He do design some benefit for thee, there is none can keep back His favour: he causeth it to reach whomsoever of His servants He pleaseth. And He is the Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 107).
27) There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance dependeth on Allah: He knoweth its resting place and its temporary deposit: All is in a clear record. (Surah 11, Hud, Verse 6).
28) To Allah do belong the unseen (secrets) of the heavens and the earth, and to Him goeth back every affair (for decision): then worship Him, and put thy trust in Him: and thy Lord is not unmindful of aught that ye do. (Surah 11, Hud, Verse 123).
29) Allah is He Who raised the heavens without any pillars that ye can see; is firmly established on the throne (of Authority); He has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law)! Each one runs (its course) for a term appointed. He doth regulate all affairs, explaining the signs in detail, that ye may believe with certainty in the meeting with your
Lord. (13, Al-Ra’d, verse 2).
30) Allah doth enlarge, or grant by (strict) measure, the Sustenance (which He giveth) to whomso He pleaseth. (The wordly) rejoice in the life of this world: But the life of this world is but little comfort in the Hereafter. (Surah 13, Al-Ra’d, verse 26).
31) And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 21).
32) And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain Inheritors (after all else passes away). (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 23).
33) If ye would count up the favours of Allah, never would ye be able to number them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And Allah doth know what ye conceal, and what ye reveal. (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verses 18-19).
34) And to Allah doth obeisance all that is in the heavens and on earth, whether moving (living)
creatures or the angels: for none are arrogant (before their Lord) ( Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse49).
35) To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse 52).
36) Invent not similitudes for Allah. For Allah knoweth, and ye know not (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse 74).
36) Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Al Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him,
(it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. (Surah 17, Bani Isra-il, verse 110 part).
37) And recite (and teach) what has been revealed to thee of the Book of thy Lord: none can change His Words, and none wilt thou find as a refuge other than Him.  (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verses 27).
38) Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, (2453) sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid." (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verses 109).
39) It is We Who will inherit the earth, and all beings thereon: to Us will they all be returned. (Surah 19, Maryam, verse 40).
40) "Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and of all that is between them; so worship Him, and be constant and patient in His worship: knowest thou of any who is worthy of the same Name as He?"(Surah 19, Maryam, verse 65).
41) For it is not consonant with the majesty of ((Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. (Surah 19, Maryam, verse 92).
42) If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. (Allah. there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. (Surah 20, Ta-Ha, verses 7-8).
43) If there were, in the heavens and the earth, other gods besides Allah, there would have been confusion in both! But glory to Allah, the Lord of the Throne: (High is He) above what they attribute to Him! (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyya, verse 22).
44) Say: "The (Qur´an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Surah 25, Al-Furqan, verse 6).
45) But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. And verily thy Lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide. As well as all that they reveal. Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. (Surah 27, An-Naml, verses 73-75).
46) It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.(Surah 28, Al-Qasas, verse 56).
47) It is He Who begins (the process of) creation; then repeats it; and for Him it is most easy. To Him belongs the loftiest similitude (we can think of) in the heavens and the earth: for He is Exalted in Might, full of wisdom. (Surah 30, Ar-Rum, verse 27).
48) And if all the trees on earth were pens and the ocean (were ink), with seven oceans behind it to add to its (supply), yet would not the Words of Allah be exhausted (in the writing): for Allah is Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. (Surah 31, Luqman, verse27).
49) And your creation or your resurrection is in no wise but as an individual soul: for Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things) (Surah 31, Luqman, verse28).
50) Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs.  Nor does anyone know what it is that he will earn on the morrow: Nor does anyone know in what land he is to die. Verily with Allah is full knowledge and He is acquainted (with all things) (Surah 31, Luqman, verse34).
51) O ye men! It is ye that have need of Allah. But Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise. If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah. (Surah 35, Fatir, verses 15-17).
52) It is Allah Who sustains the heavens and the earth, lest they cease (to function): and if they should fail, there is none - not one - can sustain them thereafter: Verily He is Most Forbearing, Oft- Forgiving. (Surah 35, Fatir, verse 41).
53) Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.(Surah 36, Ya-Sin, verse 36).
54) It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law). (Surah 36, Ya-Sin, verse 40).
55) No just estimate have they made of Allah, such as is due to Him: On the Day of Judgment the whole of the earth will be but His handful, and the heavens will be rolled up in His right hand: Glory to Him! High is He above the Partners they attribute to Him! (Surah 39, Az-Zumar, verse 67).
56) "Ye did not seek to hide yourselves, lest your hearing, your sight, and your skins should bear witness against you! But ye did think that Allah knew not many of the things that ye used to do! (Surah 41, Ha-Mim, verse 22).
57) Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of thy Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in the life of this world: and We raise some of them above others in ranks, so that some may command work from others. But the Mercy of thy Lord is better than the (wealth) which they amass. (Surah 43, Al-Zukhruf, verse 32).
58) See they not that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and never wearied with their
creation, is able to give life to the dead? Yea, verily He has power over all things. (Surah 46, Al-Zukhruf, verse 33).
59) All that is on earth will perish: But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord, - full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. (Surah 55, Ar-Rahman, verses 26-27).
60) And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son.(Surah 72, Al-Jinn, verse 3).
61) Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things. (Surah 85, Al Buruj, verse 9).
62) For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watchtower. (Surah 89, Al Fajr, verse 14).
63) And for Him is no fear of its consequences. (Surah 91, Ash-Shams, verse 15).
64) Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide, And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the
Beginning. (Surah 92, Al-Lail, verses 12-13).
65) It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilising) rain! (Surah 13, Al- Ra’d, verse 12).

67) Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what He willeth. (Surah 14, Ibrahim, verse 27).
68) There, the (only) protection comes from Allah, the True One. He is the Best to reward, and the Best to give success. (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verse 44).
69) It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course. (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyya, verse 33).
70) This is so, because Allah is the Reality: it is He Who gives life to the dead, and it is He Who has power over all things. (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 6).
71) Yet they ask thee to hasten on the Punishment! But Allah will not fail in His Promise. Verily a Day in the sight of thy Lord is like a thousand years of your reckoning. (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 47).
72) "O my son!" (Said Luqman), "If there be (but) the weight of a mustard-seed and it were (hidden) in a rock, or (anywhere) in the heavens or on earth, Allah will bring it forth: for Allah understands the finest mysteries, (and) is well acquainted (with them). (Surah 31, Luqman, verse 16).
73) And Allah did create you from dust; then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, or lays down (her load), but with His knowledge. Nor is a man long-lived granted length of days, nor is a part cut off from his life, but is in a Decree (ordained). All this is easy to Allah. (Surah 35, Fatir, verse 11).
74) And among His Signs in this: thou seest the earth barren and desolate; but when We send down rain to it, it is stirred to life and yields increase. Truly, He Who gives life to the (dead) earth can surely give life to (men) who are dead. For He has power over all things. (Surah 41, Ha-Mim, verse 39).
75) To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth: He enlarges and restricts. The Sustenance to whom He will: for He knows full well all things.(Surah 42, Al-Shura, verse 12).
76) He is the One that sends down rain (even) after (men) have given up all hope, and scatters His Mercy (far and wide). And He is the Protector, Worthy of all Praise. (Surah 42, Al-Shura Verse 28).
77) To Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He wills (and plans). He bestows (children) male or female according to His Will (and Plan), Or He bestows both males and females, and He leaves barren whom He will: for He is full of Knowledge and Power. (Surah 42, Al-Shura, verses 49-50).
78) That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; That He did create in pairs,- male and female, From a seed when lodged (in its place); That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); That it is He Who giveth wealth and
satisfaction; That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient ´Ad (people), And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual
life. And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent
transgressors, And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? (Surah 53, An-Najm, verses 43 to 55).
79) Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. (Surah 54, Al-Qamar, verse 49).
80) (Allah) Most Gracious! It is He Who has taught the Qur´an. He has created man: He has taught him speech (and intelligence). (Surah 55, Al-Rahman, verses 1 to 4).
81) No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah. And if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright): for Allah knows all things. (Surah 64, Al-Taghabun, verse 11).
82) (The angels say :) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget, - (Surah 19, Maryam, verse 64).
83) It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. (Surah 50 Qaf, verse 16).
84) The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; and yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving! (Surah 17, Bani-Isra’il, verse 44).
85) Thy Lord does create and choose as He pleases: no choice have they (in the matter):
Glory to Allah. And far is He above the partners they ascribe (to Him)! (Surah 28, Al-Qasas, verse 68).
86) Say: "Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? Or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?" They will soon say, "(Allah)". Say, "Will ye not then show piety (to Him)?" (Surah 10, Yunus, verse 31).
87) Verily Allah knows (all) the hidden things of the heavens and the earth: verily He has full knowledge of all that is in (men´s) hearts. (Surah 35, Al-Fatir, verse 38).
88) He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days, and is moreover firmly established on the Throne (of Authority), He knows what enters within the earth and what comes forth out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it. And He is with you wheresoever ye may be. And Allah sees well all that ye do. (Surah 57, Al-Hadid, verse 4).
89) Seest thou not that Allah doth know (all) that is in the heavens and on earth? There is not a secret consultation between three, but He makes the fourth among them, - Nor between five but He makes the sixth, - nor between fewer nor more, but He is in their midst, wheresoever they be: In the end will He tell them the truth of their conduct, on the Day of Judgment. For Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Surah 58, Al-Mujadilah, verse 7)
90) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 54, Number 416: Book of Beginning of Creation) (Islambase Publications).
91) Narrated Abu Huraira: Whenever Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) intended to invoke evil upon somebody or invoke good upon somebody, he used to invoke (Allah after bowing (in the prayer). Sometimes after saying, "Allah hears him who sends his praises to Him, all praise is for You, O our Lord," he would say, "O Allah. Save Al-Walid bin Al-Walid and Salama bin Hisham, and 'Aiyash bin Abu Rabi'a. O Allah! Inflict Your Severe Torture on Mudar (tribe) and strike them with (famine) years like the years of Joseph." The Prophet used to say in a loud voice, and he also used to say in some of his Fajr prayers, "O Allah! Curse so-and-so and so-and-so", naming some of the Arab tribes till Allah revealed:--"Not for you (O Muhammad) (but for Allah) is the decision." 92) Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said to Gabriel, "What prevents you from visiting us more often than you visit us now?" So there was revealed: -- 'And we (angels) descend not but by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us...'(19.64) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 255: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
93) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "When it is the last third of the night, our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, descends every night to the heaven of the world and says, 'Is there anyone who invokes Me (demand anything from Me), that I may respond to his invocation; Is there anyone who asks Me for something that I may give (it to) him; Is there anyone who asks My forgiveness that I may forgive him?' “(Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 75, Number 333: Book of Invocations) (Islambase Publications).
94) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him." 95) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "When Allah created the Creation, He wrote in His Book--and He wrote (that) about Himself, and it is placed with Him on the Throne--'Verily My Mercy overcomes My Anger.'"(Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 93, Number 501: Book of Oneness, Uniqueness of Allah [Tawheed]) (Islambase Publications).
96) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Allah says: 'I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' 97) Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "O Gabriel, what prevents you. from visiting us more often than you do?" Then this Verse was revealed:--'And we angels descend not but by Command of your Lord. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us....’ (19.64) so this was the answer to Muhammad. 98) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, ‘There is a remedy for every malady, and when the remedy is applied to the disease, it is cured with the permission of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.’ (Sahih Muslim Part III; Book of Al-Salam; Chapter CMXXIX, page 1199; 9th edition).
99) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 71, Number 582: Book of Medicine) (Islambase Publications).
