The Practice of Charm and Taking Omens (Taking or practising Taaweez / Shagun)

1) Seventy thousand of my (Muhammad – Peace be upon him) Ummah would enter Paradise without rendering account. They would be those who would neither practise charm, nor take omens, nor do they cauterise, but they repose their trust in their Lord. (Sahih Muslim Part I; Book of Faith; Chapter XCI, page 141; 9th edition).
2) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, ‘There is no harm in incantation which does not smack of polytheism’. (Sahih Muslim Part III; Book of Al-Salam; Chapter CMXX, page 1197; 9th edition).
3) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, ‘Do not visit (Kahins) Fortune –Tellers, and do not take omens’. (Sahih Muslim Part IV; Book of Al-Salam; Chapter CMXXXIII, page 1209; 9th edition).

The Power to Benefit or Harm (Nafa aur Nuksan ka Ikhtiar)

1) If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He: if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things! (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 17).
2) Say, ‘Think ye, if Allah took away your hearing and your sight, and sealed up your hearts, who – a God other than Allah - could restore them to you?’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 46 Part).
3) Give this warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to Judgement) before their Lord: except for Him, they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil). (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 51).
4) Say:’ I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah Willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I should have multiplied all good: and no evil should have touched me: I am but a warner, and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith’. (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 188).
5) Say: ‘I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except as Allah Willeth. To every People is a term appointed! .... (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 49 Part).
6) Say: "Call on those - besides Him - whom ye fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them." Those whom they call upon do desire (for
themselves) means of access to their Lord, - even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of.   (Surah 17, Bani Isra-il Verses 56-57).
7) There, the (only) protection comes from Allah, the True One. He is the Best to reward, and the Best to give success. (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verse 44).
8) Yet have they taken, besides him, gods that can create nothing but are themselves created; that have no control of hurt or good to themselves; nor can they control death nor life nor resurrection. (Surah 25, Al-Furqan, verse 3).
9) Yet do they worship, besides Allah, things that can neither profit them nor harm them: and the
Misbeliever is a helper (of Evil), against his own Lord! (Surah 25, Al-Furqan, verse 55).
10) Say: "Call upon other (gods) whom ye fancy, besides Allah. They have no power, - not the weight of an atom, - in the heavens or on earth: No (sort of) share have they therein, nor is any of them a helper to Allah. (Surah 34, Saba, verse 22).
11) What Allah out of his Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can withhold: what He doth withhold, there is none can grant, apart from Him: and He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. (Surah 35, Fatir, verse 2).
12) If ye invoke them, they will not listen to your call, and if they were to listen, they cannot answer your (prayer). On the Day of Judgment they will reject your "Partnership". And none, (O man!) can tell thee (the Truth) like the One Who is acquainted with all things. (Surah 35, Fatir, verse 14).
13) Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what He willeth. (Surah 14, Ibrahim, verse 27).
14) Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). (Surah 67, Al-Mulk, verse 15).
15) Say: "See ye? - If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?"(Surah 67, Al-Mulk, verse 30).
16) Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut: they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their (husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the Fire along with (others) that enter!" (Surah 66, Al-Tahrim, verse 10).
17) And Allah sets forth, as an example to those who believe the wife of Pharaoh: Behold, she said: "O my Lord! Build for me, in nearness to Thee, a mansion in the Garden, and save me from Pharaoh and his doings, and save me from those that do wrong"; (Surah 66, Al-Tahrim, verse 11).
18) Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct." (Surah 72, Al-Jinn, verse 21).
19) Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. But proclaim (to them) this (truth): that every soul delivers itself to ruin by its own acts: it will find for itself no protector or intercessor except Allah. If it offered every ransom, (or reparation), none will be accepted: such is (the end of) those who deliver themselves to ruin by their own acts: they will have for drink (only) boiling water, and for punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting Allah. Say: "Shall we indeed call on others besides Allah, - things that can do us neither good nor harm, - and turn on our heels after receiving guidance from Allah. - like one whom the evil ones have made into a fool, wandering bewildered through the earth, his friends calling, come to us´, (vainly) guiding him to the path." Say: "(Allah) ´s guidance is the (only) guidance, and we have been directed to submit ourselves to the Lord of the worlds; - (Surah 6, Al-An’am, verses 70-71).
 20) If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that that can help you? In Allah, then, let believers put their trust. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 160).
21) Unto Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth. He giveth life and He taketh it. Except for Him ye have no protector nor helper. (Surah 9, Al-Tauba, verse 116).
22) Narrated Abu Huraira: When Allah revealed the Verse: "Warn your nearest kinsmen," Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) got up and said, "O people of Quraish (or said similar words)! Buy (i.e. save) yourselves (from the Hellfire) as I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Bani Abd Manaf! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment, O Safiya, the Aunt of Allah's Apostle! I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment; O Fatima bint Muhammad! Ask me anything from my wealth, but I cannot save you from Allah's Punishment." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Book 51, Number 16: Book of Wills [Wasiyya]) (Islambase Publications).
23) Narrated Al-Musaiyab: When Abu Talib was in his death bed, the Prophet (Peace be upon him)   went to him while Abu Jahl was sitting beside him. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "O my uncle! Say: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, an expression I will defend your case with, before Allah." Abu Jahl and 'Abdullah bin Umaya said, "O Abu Talib! Will you leave the religion of 'Abdul Muttalib?” So they kept on saying this to him so that the last statement he said to them (before he died) was: "I am on the religion of 'Abdul Muttalib." Then the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, “I will keep on asking for Allah's Forgiveness for you unless I am forbidden to do so." Then the following Verse was revealed: -- "It is not fitting for the Prophet and the believers to ask Allah's Forgiveness for the pagans, even if they were their near relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire." (9.113) The other Verse was also revealed: -- "(O Prophet!) Verily, you guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He will ......." (28.56) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 5, Book 58, Number 223: Book of Merits of Al-Ansar) (Islambase Publications).
24) Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., none can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him)?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 70, Number 577: Book of Patients) (Islambase Publications).

The Non-Believers (Al-Kafir / Al-Mushrik)

26) Those who reject Our Signs We will lead them step by step to ruin while they know not: Respite will I grant unto them: for My scheme is strong (and unfailing). (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 182, 183).

28) When trouble toucheth a man, he cries unto Us (in all postures) – lying down on his side, or sitting, or standing. But when We have removed his affliction, he passeth on his way as if he had never cried to Us for the affliction that touched him! Thus do the deeds of transgressors seem fair in their eyes! (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 12).
29) Say: ‘Those who forge a lie against Allah will never prosper’. (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 69).

But neither Signs nor Warners profit those who believe not. (Surah 10, Yunus, Verse 99-100-101).

36) The Unbelievers say, "Never to us will come the Hour": Say, "Nay! but most surely, by my Lord, it will come upon you; - by Him Who knows the unseen,- from Whom is not hidden the least little atom in the heavens or on earth: Nor is there anything less than that, or greater, but is in the Record Perspicuous: That He may reward those who believe and work deeds of righteousness: for such is Forgiveness and a Sustenance Most Generous." (Surah 34, Saba, verses 3-4)

believe and do righteous deeds,- that equal will be their life and their death? Ill is the judgment that they make. (Surah 45, Al-Jathiyah, verse 21).
42) Allah sets forth, for an example to the Unbelievers, the wife of Noah and the wife of Lut:
they were (respectively) under two of our righteous servants, but they were false to their
(husbands), and they profited nothing before Allah on their account, but were told: "Enter ye the
Fire along with (others) that enter!" (Surah 66, Al-Tahrim, verse 10).
43) Leave alone those who take their religion to be mere play and amusement, and are deceived by the life of this world. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, verse 70).
44) It was not Allah who instituted (superstitions like those of) a slit-ear she- camel, or a she-camel let loose for free pasture, or idol sacrifices for twin-births in animals, or stallion-camels freed from work: It is blasphemers who invent a lie against Allah. But most of them lack wisdom. (Surah 5, Al-Maidah, verse 103).
45) Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.(Surah 6, Al-An’am, verse 125).
46) Nay! To those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide. For them is a penalty in the life of this world, but harder, truly, is the penalty of the Hereafter: and
defender have they none against Allah. (Surah 13, Al-Ra’d, verses 33 (part) and 34).
47) Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what He willeth. (Surah 14, Ibrahim, verse 27).

49) Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe? (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyya, verse 30).
50) Yet there is among men such a one as disputes about Allah, without Knowledge, without Guidance, and without a Book of Enlightenment,-(Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 8).
51) Those who love (to see) scandal published broadcast among the Believers, will have a grievous Penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: Allah knows, and ye know not. (Surah 24, Al-Nur, verse 19).
52) As to those who believe not in the Hereafter, We have made their deeds pleasing in their eyes; and so they wander about in distraction. (Surah 27, An-Naml, verse 4)
53) Do ye not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made his bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them! (Surah 31, Luqman, verse 20).
54) Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! Nor will they be granted respite." (Surah 32, Al-Sajdah, verse 29).
55) They will say: "Did there not come to you your messengers with Clear Signs?" They will say, "Yes". They will reply, "Then pray (as ye like)! But the prayer of those without Faith is nothing but (futile wandering) in (mazes of) error!" (Surah 40, Al-Mu’min, verse 50).
56) For when their messengers came to them with Clear Signs, they exulted in such knowledge (and skill) as they had; but that very (Wrath) at which they were wont to scoff hemmed them in.(Surah 40, Al-Mu’min, verse 83).
 57) Say: "See ye? If (this teaching) be from Allah, and ye reject it, and a witness from among the Children of Israel testifies to its similarity (with earlier scripture), and has believed while ye are arrogant, (how unjust ye are!) truly, Allah guides not a people unjust."(Surah 46, Al-Ahqaf, verse 10).
58) Those who reject Allah, and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah, then die rejecting Allah, - Allah will not forgive them. (Surah 47, Muhammad, verse 34).
59) That is because they resisted Allah and His Messenger. And if any one resists Allah, verily Allah is severe in Punishment.(Surah 59, Al-Hashr, verse 4).
60) And be ye not like those who forgot Allah; and He made them forget their own souls! Such are the rebellious transgressors! (Surah 59, Al-Hashr, verse 19).
61) Their eyes will be cast down, - ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to prostate in adoration, while they were in good shape, (and had refused). Then leave Me alone with such as reject this Message: by degrees shall We punish them from directions they perceive not. A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. (Surah 68, Al-Qalam, verses 43-44-45).
62) And he that will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: "Ah! Would that my Record had not been given to me! "And that I had never realised how my account (stood)!”Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me! "Of no profit to me has been my wealth!”My power has perished from me!"... (Surah 69, Al-Haqqah, verses 25 to 29).
63) "This was he that would not believe in Allah Most High.”And would not encourage the feeding of the indigent! (Surah 69, Al-Haqqah, verses 33-34).
64) But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. (Surah 69, Al-Haqqah, verses 50-51).
65) Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (for aye). They are the worst of creatures. (Surah 98, Al-Bayyinah, verse 6).
66) If anyone withdraws himself from the remembrance of ((Allah)) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! (Surah 43, Al-Zukhruf, verse 36-37).
67) Those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, - Allah will not guide them, and theirs will be a grievous Penalty. (Surah 16, Al-Nahl, verse 104).
68) Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 257).
69) Do the Unbelievers think that they can take My servants as protectors besides Me? Verily We have prepared Hell for the Unbelievers for (their) entertainment. (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verse 102).
70) Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah - for them will We add Penalty to Penalty; for that they used to spread mischief. (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse 88).
71) When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah hath revealed:" They say: "Nay! we shall follow the ways of our fathers." What! Even though their fathers were void of wisdom and guidance? (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 170).
72) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allah removes his difficulties.) And an impious wicked person is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allah cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 70, Number 547: Book of Patients) (Islambase Publications).
73) Narrated Abu Huraira: A man used to eat much, but when he embraced Islam, he started eating less. That was mentioned to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) who then said, "A believer eats in one intestine (is satisfied with a little food) and a Kafir eats in seven intestines (eats much).” (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 65, Number 309: Book of Food, Meals) (Islambase Publications).
74) Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) observed: There are three characteristics of a hypocrite: when he spoke he told a lie, when he made promise he acted treacherously, and when he was trusted he betrayed. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Faith, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadees No 113, Chapter 26: Concerning The Peculiarities Of A Hypocrite http://www.mclean.faithweb.com).
75) It is narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Khalid al−Juhani: The Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) led the morning prayer at Hudaybiya. There were some marks of the rainfall during the night. At the conclusion of prayer he turned towards people and observed: Do you know what your Lord has said? They replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet) remarked: He (Allah) said: Some of My bondsmen entered the morning as My believers and some as unbelievers. He who said: We have had a rainfall due
to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah, he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars, and who said: We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such (star) disbelieved Me and affirmed his faith in the stars. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Faith, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadees No 132, Chapter 33: The Unbelief Of One Who Said: We Got Rainfall By The Movement (Of The Stars) http://www.mclean.faithweb.com).

51) Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundation of the Book, others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the Truth ) follow thereof that is not entirely clear seeking affliction and searching for its hidden meanings; but no one knows its hidden meanings but Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it (i.e. in the Qur'an) the whole of it (i.e. it’s clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord. And none receive admonition except men of understanding." (3.7) Then Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "If you see those who follow thereof that is not entirely clear, then they are those whom Allah has named [as having deviation (from the Truth)] 'So beware of them." So the Prophet (Peace be upon him) was ordered not to move his tongue, which he used to do, lest some words should escape his memory. 'It is for Us to collect it' means, We will collect it in your chest;' and its recitation' means, We will make you recite it. 'But when We recite it (i.e. when it is revealed to you), follow its recital; it is for Us to explain it and make it clear,' (i.e. We will explain it through your tongue). wretched and some will be blessed.( Surah 11, Hud, verse 105).

It leaves out nothing small or great, but takes account thereof!" They will find all that they did, placed before them: And not one will thy Lord treat with injustice. (Surah 18, Al-Kahf, verse 49).
14) The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed), - even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have
undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyya, verse 104).
15) The Day ye shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling- babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shalt see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the Wrath of Allah.(Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 2).
16) O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, (consider) that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, partly formed and partly unformed, in order that We may manifest (our power) to you; and We cause whom We will to rest in the wombs for an appointed term, then do We bring you out as babes, then (foster you) that ye may reach your age of full strength; and some of you are called to die, and some are sent back to the feeblest old age, so that they know nothing after having known (much). And (further), thou seest the earth barren and lifeless, but when We pour down rain on it, it is stirred (to life), it swells, and it puts forth every kind of beautiful growth (in pairs). 22) The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. (Surah 53, An-Najm, verses 57-58).
23) When the Event Inevitable cometh to pass, then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms, (Becoming dust scattered abroad, And ye shall be sorted out into three classes Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand; - What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? And the Companions of the Left Hand, - what will be the Companions of the Left Hand? And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). (Surah 56, Al-Waqi’ah, verses 1 to 10).
24) (Those without) will call out, "Were we not with you?" (The others) will reply, "True! But ye led yourselves into temptation; ye looked forward (to our ruin); ye doubted ((Allah) ´s Promise); and (your false) desires deceived you; until there issued the Command of Allah. And the Deceiver deceived you in respect of Allah.  "This Day shall no ransom be accepted of you, nor of those who rejected Allah. Your abode is the Fire: that is the proper place to claim you: and an evil refuge it is!" Has not the time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors. (Surah 57, Al-Hadid, verses 14-15-16).
25) Though they will be put in sight of each other, - the sinner´s desire will be: Would that he could redeem himself from the Penalty of that Day by (sacrificing) his children, His wife and his brother, His kindred who sheltered him, and all, all that is on earth, - so it could deliver him: By no means! For it would be the Fire of Hell! - Plucking out (his being) right to the skull! - Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right). And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)! (Surah 70, Al-Ma’arij, verses 11 to 18).
26) So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!  (Surah 70, Al-Ma’arij, verse 42).
27) Leave Me alone, (to deal) with the (creature) whom I created (bare and) alone! - To whom I granted resources in abundance, and sons to be by his side!-(To whom I made (life) smooth and comfortable! Yet is he greedy-that I should add (Yet more); - (Surah 74, Al-Mudassir, verses 11 to 15).
28) That Day will Man be told (all) that he put forward, and all that he put back. Nay, man will be evidence against himself (Surah 75, Al-Qiyamah, verse 13-14).
29) The Day that the Trumpet shall be sounded, and ye shall come forth in crowds; and the heavens shall be opened as if there were doors, and the mountains shall vanish, as if they were a mirage. Truly Hell is as a place of ambush-For the transgressors a place of destination: They will dwell therein for ages. (Surah 78, Al-Naba’, verses 18 to 23).
30) Woe to those that deal in fraud,-Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, exact full measure, But when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due. Do they not think that they will be called to account? - On a Mighty Day, A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? (Surah 83, Al-Mutaffifin, verses 1 to 6).
31) And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face), - on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him? He will say: "Ah! (Surah 89, Al-Fajr, verses 23 to 26).

33) The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), until ye visit the graves.  But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). Again, ye soon shall know! Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) Ye shall certainly see Hellfire! Again, ye shall see it with certainty of sight! Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). (Surah 102, Al-Takasur, verses 1 to 8).
34) (From) the Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between, (Allah) Most Gracious: None shall have power to argue with Him. The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand forth in ranks, none shall speak except any who is permitted by ((Allah)) Most Gracious, and He will say what is right. That Day will be the sure Reality: Therefore, whoso will, let him take a (straight) return to his Lord! (Surah 78, Al-Nabaa, verses 37-38-39).
35) Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside) (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 48)
36) And the Earth will shine with the Glory of its Lord: the Record (of Deeds) will be placed (open); the prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward and a just decision pronounced between them; and they will not be wronged (in the least). (Surah 39, Al-Zumar, verse 69).
37) On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them as to their actions. (Surah 24, Al-Nur, verse 24).
38) Narrated Ibn Abu Mulaika: Whenever 'Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) heard anything which she did not understand, she used to ask again till she understood it completely. Aisha said: "Once the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Whoever will be called to account (about his deeds on the Day of Resurrection) will surely be punished." I said, "Doesn't Allah say: "He surely will receive an easy reckoning." (84.8) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) replied, "This means only the presentation of the accounts but whoever will be argued about his account, will certainly be ruined." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 3, Number 103: Book of Knowledge [Ilm]) (Islambase Publications).
39) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "The Hour (Last Day) will not be established until (religious) knowledge will be taken away (by the death of religious learned men), earthquakes will be very frequent, time will pass quickly, afflictions will appear, murders will increase and money will overflow amongst you." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 2, Book 17, Number 146: Book of Dua for Rain [Istisqaa]) (Islambase Publications).

(7) a person who remembers Allah in seclusion and his eyes get flooded with tears." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 2, Book 24, Number 504: Book of Tax [Zakat]) (Islambase Publications).
41) Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is, everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 620: Book of Oppressions [Zulm; Fitna]) (Islambase Publications).
42) Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz Almazini: While I was walking with Ibn 'Umar holding his hand, a man came in front of us and asked, "What have you heard from Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) about An-Najwa?" Ibn 'Umar said, "I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'Allah will bring a believer near Him and shelter him with His Screen and ask him: Did you commit such-and-such sins? He will say: Yes, my Lord. Allah will keep on asking him till he will confess all his sins and will think that he is ruined. Allah will say: 'I did screen your sins in the world and I forgive them for you today', and then he will be given the book of his good deeds. Regarding infidels and hypocrites (their evil acts will be exposed publicly) and the witnesses will say: These are the people who lied against their Lord. Behold! The Curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers." (11.18) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 621: Book of Oppressions [Zulm; Fitna]) (Islambase Publications).
43) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 43, Number 629: Book of Oppressions [Zulm; Fitna]) (Islambase Publications).
44) Narrated Ibn Abbas: Allah's Apostle delivered a sermon and said, "O people! You will be gathered before Allah bare-footed, naked and not circumcised." Then (quoting Quran) he said:--
"As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. A promise We have undertaken: Truly we shall do it...” (21.104) The Prophet (Peace be upon him) then said, "The first of the human beings to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought and then (the angels) will drive them to the left side (Hell-Fire). I will say. 'O my Lord! (They are) my companions!' Then a reply will come (from Almighty), 'You do not know what they did after you.' I will say as the pious slave (the Prophet Jesus) said: And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them. When You took me up. You were the Watcher over them and You are a Witness to all things.' (5.117) Then it will be said, "These people have continued to be apostates since you left them." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 149: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
45) Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "On the Day of Resurrection Death will be brought forward in the shape of a black and white ram. Then a call maker will call, 'O people of Paradise!' Thereupon they will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' By then all of them will have seen it. Then it will be announced again, 'O people of Hell!' They will stretch their necks and look carefully. The caller will say, 'Do you know this?' They will say, 'Yes, this is Death.' And by then all of them will have seen it. Then it (that ram) will be slaughtered and the caller will say, 'O people of Paradise! Eternity for you and no death O people of Hell! Eternity for you and no death."' Then the Prophet (Peace be upon him) recited: -- 'And warn them of the Day of distress when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness (i.e. the people of the world) and they do not believe.' (19.39) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 254: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
46) Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) delivered a sermon and said, "You (people) will be gathered before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection) bare-footed, naked and uncircumcised." (The Prophet then recited):-- 'As We began the first creation We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise We have undertaken and truly We shall do it.' and added, "The first man who will be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought and taken towards the left side, whereupon I will say, 'O Lord, (these are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what new things they introduced (into the religion) after you.' I will then say as the righteous pious slave, Jesus, said, 'I was a witness over them while I dwelt among them... (to His Statement)..And You are the Witness to all things.' (5.117) Then it will be said, '(O Muhammad) These people never stopped to apostate since you left them." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 264: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
47) Narrated Abu Said: I heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) saying, "Allah will bring forth the severest Hour, and then all the Believers, men and women, will prostrate themselves before Him, but there will remain those who used to prostrate in the world for showing off and for gaining good reputation. Such people will try to prostrate (on the Day of Judgment) but their backs will be as stiff as if it is one bone (a single vertebra)." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 441: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
48) Narrated Al--Amash: Abu Huraira said, "Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, 'Between the two sounds of the trumpet, there will be forty." Somebody asked Abu Huraira, "Forty days?" But he refused to reply. Then he asked, "Forty months?" He refused to reply. Then he asked, "Forty years?" Again, he refused to reply. Abu Huraira added. "Then (after this period) Allah will send water from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows, There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the coccyx of which the human body will be recreated on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 457: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).
49) Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz: A man asked Ibn 'Umar, "What did you hear Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) saying regarding An-Najwa (secret talk between Allah and His believing worshipper on the Day of Judgment)?" He said, "(The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said), "One of you will come close to his Lord till He will shelter him in His screen and say: Did you commit such-and-such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' Then Allah will say: Did you commit such and such sin? He will say, 'Yes.' So Allah will make him confess (all his sins) and He will say, 'I screened them (your sins) for you in the world, and today I forgive them for you."' (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 73, Number 96: Book of Good Manners [Al-Adab]) (Islambase Publications).
50) Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "The first cases to be decided among the people (on the Day of Resurrection) will be those of blood-shed." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 83, Number 4: Book of Blood Money [Ad-Diyat]) (Islambase Publications).
51) It is narrated o the authority of Abu Dharr that the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) observed: Three are the (persons) with whom Allah would neither speak on the Day of
Resurrection, nor would look at them nor would absolve the and there is a painful chastisement for them. The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) repeated it three times. Abu Dharr remarked: They failed and they lost; who are these persons, Messenger of Allah? Upon this he (the Holy) Prophet) observed: They are: the dragger of lower garment, the recounter of obligation and the seller of goods by false oath. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Faith, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadees No 192, Chapter 47: Serious Prohibition Of Letting Down The Lowergarment, Of Laying Obligation, Of Selling Goods By False Oaths, And Description Of Those Three− (Persons) With Whom Allah Would Not Speak On The Day Of Resurrection, Nor Would He See Towards Them Nor Would Absolve Them, And For Them Is A Painful Chastisement http://www.mclean.faithweb.com).

2) O ye who believe! Seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for God is with those who patiently persevere. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah or the Heifer, verse 153).

6) The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe, but the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will. (Surah 2, Al Baqarah or the Heifer, Verse 212).
7) Oh ye who believe! Give off the good things which ye have {honorably earned}. (Surah 2, Al- Baqarah or The Heifer, Verse 267 Beginning).
8) Each one (of men of faith) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His Messengers. ‘We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His Messengers’. And they say: ‘We hear, and we obey: .....’ (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah or The Heifer, verse 285 part).

16) O ye who believe! Persevere in patience and constancy; vie in such perseverance; strengthen each other; and fear Allah; that ye may prosper.  (Surah 3, Al-Imran, Verse 200).
17) Oh ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and his Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last day: that is best, and most suitable for final determination. (Surah 4, An-Nisa, Verse 59).
18) Oh ye who believe! When ye go out in the cause of Allah, investigate carefully.... (Surah 4 An-Nisa Verse 94 Part).

23) Oh people of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a Messenger of Allah, so believe in Allah and His Messenger. (Surah 5 Al-Maida Verse 54 Part).
26) Your (real) friends are (no less than) Allah, His Messenger and the Believers- those who establish regular prayers and pay zakat and they bow down humbly (in worship) (Surah 5 Al-Maida Verse 55).

32) Those who are near to thy Lord, disdain not to worship Him. (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 206 Part).
33) ....do ye fear them (violators of treaty)? Nay, it is Allah Whom you should more justly fear of ye believe! (Surah 9, At- Tauba, Verse 13 Part).
34) Do you think that you would be left along while Allah has not yet known those among you who strive with might and main, and take none for friends and protectors, except Allah, His Messenger, and the (community) Believers? And Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. (Surah 9, At- Tauba, Verse 16).
35) The believers, men and women, are protectors, one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, pay zakat and obey Allah and His Messenger, on them will Allah pour His Mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise. (Surah 9, At- Tauba, Verse 71).
36) It is not for the Believers to go forth together: if a contingent from every expedition go forth to devote themselves to studies in religion, and admonish the people when they return to them, that thus they (may learn) to guard themselves (against evil). (Surah 9, At- Tauba, Verse 122).
37) "For over My servants no authority shalt thou (Iblis) have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 42).
38) O ye who believe! Bow down, prostrate yourselves, and adore your Lord; and do good; that ye may prosper. And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline) He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Abraham. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for
mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protector - the Best to protect and the Best to help! (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verses 77-78).
39) O ye who believe! follow not Satan´s footsteps: if any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong: and were it not for the grace and mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure: but Allah doth purify whom He pleases: and Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things). (Surah 24, An-Nur, verse 21).
40) Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population. Therefore listen not to the Unbelievers, but strive against them with the utmost strenuousness, with the
(Qur´an). (Surah 25, Al-Furqan, verses 51-52).
41) So verily thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away. Nor canst thou lead back the blind from their
straying: only those wilt thou make to hear, who believe in Our signs and submit (their wills in Islam). (Surah 30, Ar-Rum, verses 52-53).
42) Say: "O ye my servants who believe! Fear your Lord, good is (the reward) for those who do
good in this world. Spacious is Allah's earth! Those who patiently persevere will truly receive a
reward without measure!" (Surah 39, Az-Zumar, verse10).
43) But to those who receive Guidance, He increases the (light of) Guidance, and bestows on them their Piety and Restraint (from evil). (Surah 47, Muhammad, verse 17).
44) O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger, and make not vain your deeds! (Surah 47, Muhammad, verse 33).
45) That He may admit the men and women who believe, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye, and remove their ills from them; - and that is, in the sight of Allah, the highest achievement (for man), - (Surah 48, Al-Fatah, verse 5).
46) Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those who are with him are strong against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. Thou wilt see them bow and prostrate themselves (in prayer), seeking Grace from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. On their faces are their marks, (being) the traces of their prostration. This is their similitude in the Torah; and their similitude in the Gospel is: like a seed which sends forth its blade, then makes it strong; it then becomes thick, and it stands on its own stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result, it fills the Unbelievers with rage at them. Allah has promised those among them who believe and do righteous deeds forgiveness, and a great Reward. (Surah 48, Al-Fatah, verse29).
47) O ye who believe! Fear Allah, and let every soul look to what (provision) it has sent forth
for the morrow. Yea, fear Allah, for Allah is well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. (Surah 59, Al-Hashr, verse 18).
48) O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own. And spend something (in charity) out of the
sustenance which We have bestowed on you, before Death should come to any of you and he should say, "O my Lord! Why didst Thou not give me respite for a little while? I should then have given (largely) in charity, and I should have been one of the doers of good". (Surah 63, Al-Munafiqun, verse 9-10).
49) On their account no responsibility falls on the righteous, but (their duty) is to remind them, that they may (learn to) fear Allah. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, verse 69).
50) O ye who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves in vanities: But let there be amongst you Traffic and trade by mutual good-will: Nor kill (or destroy) yourselves: for verily Allah hath been to you Most Merciful! (Surah 4, Al-Nisa, verse 29).
51) Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward, - (Surah 4, Al-Nisa, verse 95).
52) Those whom Allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- He maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth Allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe.(Surah 6, Al-An’am, verse 125).
53) All that we relate to thee of the stories of the messengers, - with it We make firm thy heart: in them there cometh to thee the Truth, as well as an exhortation and a message of remembrance to those who believe. (Surah 11, Hud, verse 120).
54) Allah will establish in strength those who believe, with the word that stands firm, in this world and in the Hereafter; but Allah will leave, to stray, those who do wrong: Allah doeth what He willeth. (Surah 14, Ibrahim, verse 27).
55) Only those believe in Our Signs, who, when they are recited to them, fall down in adoration, and celebrate the praises of their Lord, nor are they (ever) puffed up with pride. Their limbs do forsake their beds of sleep, the while they call on their Lord, in Fear and Hope: and they spend (in charity) out of the sustenance which We have bestowed on them. (Surah 32, Al-Sajdah, verse 15-16).
56) O ye who believe! Enter not the Prophet´s houses, - until leave is given you, - for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation: but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behaviour) annoys the Prophet: he is ashamed to dismiss you, but Allah is not ashamed (to tell you) the truth. And when ye ask (his ladies) for anything ye want, ask them from before a screen: that makes for greater purity for your hearts and for theirs. Nor is it right for you that ye should annoy Allah's Messenger, or that ye should marry his widows after him at any time. Truly such a thing is in Allah’s sight an enormity. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 53).
57) And they will say: "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us (all) sorrow: for our Lord is indeed Oft-Forgiving Ready to appreciate (service): "Who has, out of His Bounty, settled us in a Home that will last: no toil nor sense of weariness shall touch us therein." (Surah 35, Fatir, verses 34-35).
58) We will, without doubt, help our messengers and those who believe, (both) in this world´s life and on the Day when the Witnesses will stand forth,-(Surah 40, Al-Mu’min, verse 51).
59) Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each People according to what they have earned. (Surah 45, verse 14).
60) Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; At length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: Until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah's Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the Way of Allah, - He will never let their deeds be lost. Soon will He guide them and improve their condition, (Surah 47, Muhammad, verses 4-5).
61) O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly. (Surah 47, Muhammad, verse 7).
62) O ye who believe! If a wicked person comes to you with any news, ascertain the truth, lest ye harm people unwittingly, and afterwards become full of repentance for what ye have done. (Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, verse 6).
63) O ye who believe! Avoid suspicion as much (as possible): for suspicion in some cases is a sin: And spy not on each other behind their backs. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, ye would abhor it...But fear Allah. For Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. (Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, verse 12).
64) O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.(Surah 60, Al-Mumtahinah, verse 13).
65) O ye who believe! Truly, among your wives and your children are (some that are) enemies to yourselves: so beware of them! But if ye forgive and overlook, and cover up (their faults), verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (Surah 64, Al-Taghabun, verse 14).
66) O ye who believe! Turn to Allah with sincere repentance: In the hope that your Lord will remove from you your ills and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, - the Day that Allah will not permit to be humiliated the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their Light will run forward before them and by their right hands, while they say, "Our Lord! Perfect our Light for us, and grant us Forgiveness: for Thou hast power over all things."(Surah 66, Al-Tahrim, verse 8).
67) So woe to the worshippers Who are neglectful of their Prayers Those who (want but) to be seen (of men), (But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. (Surah 107, Al-Ma’un, verses 4 to 7).
68) It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces Towards east or West; but it is righteousness to believe in Allah and the Last Day, and the Angels, and the Book, and the Messengers; to spend of  your substance, out of love for Him, for your kin, for orphans, for the needy, for the wayfarer, for those who ask, and for the ransom of slaves; to be steadfast in prayer, and practice regular charity; to fulfil the  contracts which ye have made; and to be firm and patient, in pain (or suffering) and adversity, and throughout all periods of panic. Such are the people of truth, the Allah fearing. (Surah 1, Al-Baqarah, verse 177).
69) (Lit is such a Light) in houses, which Allah hath permitted to be raised to honour; for the celebration, in them, of His name: In them is He glorified in the mornings and in the evenings, (again and again), By men whom neither traffic nor merchandise can divert from the Remembrance of Allah, nor from regular Prayer, nor from the practice of regular Charity: Their (only) fear is for the Day when hearts and eyes will be transformed (in a world wholly new),- (Surah 24, Al-Nur, verses 36-37).
70) O ye who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?- That ye believe in Allah and His Messenger, and that ye strive (your utmost) in the Cause of Allah, with your property and your persons: That will be best for you, if ye but knew!( He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity: that is indeed the Supreme Achievement.(Surah 61, Al-Saff, verses10-11-12).
71) O ye who believe! Fear Allah and be with those who are true (in word and deed). (Surah 9, Al-Tauba, verse 119).
72) The Believers are but a single Brotherhood: So make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers; and fear Allah, that ye may receive Mercy. O ye who believe! Let not some men among you laugh at others: It may be that the (latter) are better than the (former): Nor let some women laugh at others: It may be that the (latter are better than the (former): Nor defame nor be sarcastic to each other, nor call each other by (offensive) nicknames: Ill-seeming is a name connoting wickedness, (to be used of one) after he has believed: And those who do not desist are (indeed) doing wrong. (Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, verse 10-11).
73) O ye who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often; (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 41).
74) Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of darkness He will lead them forth into light. Of those who reject faith the patrons are the evil ones: from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (For ever). (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 257).
 75) Only those are Believers who have believed in Allah and His Messenger, and have never since doubted, but have striven with their belongings and their persons in the Cause of Allah: Such are the sincere ones. (Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, verse 15).
76) O ye who believe! When ye hold secret counsel, do it not for iniquity and hostility, and disobedience to the Prophet; but do it for righteousness and self restraint; and fear Allah, to Whom ye shall be brought back. (Surah 58, Al-Mujadilah, verse 9).
77) Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 143).
78) Men said to them: "A great army is gathering against you": And frightened them: But it (only) increased their Faith: They said: "For us Allah sufficeth, and He is the best disposer of affairs." (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 173).
79) Narrated Al-Bara' bin 'Azib : The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "When a faithful believer is made to sit in his grave, then (the angels) come to him and he testifies that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. And that corresponds to Allah's statement: Allah will keep firm those who believe with the word that stands firm . . . (14.27). (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 2, Book 23, Number 450: Book of Funerals (Janaaiz)) (Islambase Publications).

81) Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri and Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 70, Number 545: Book of Patients) (Islambase Publications).
82) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again.

Gabriel would love him, and then Gabriel would make an announcement among the residents of the Heaven, 'Allah loves so-and-so, therefore, you should love him also.' So, all the residents of the Heavens would love him and then he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 76, Number 432: Book of Softening the Heart [Al-Riqaq]) (Islambase Publications).
85) Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Who-ever loves to meet Allah, Allah (too) loves to meet him and who-ever hates to meet Allah, Allah (too) hates to meet him". 'Aisha, or some of the wives of the Prophet said, "But we dislike death." He said: It is not like this, but it is meant that when the time of the death of a believer approaches, he receives the good news of Allah's pleasure with him and His blessings upon him, and so at that time nothing is dearer to him than what is in front of him. He therefore loves the meeting with Allah, and Allah (too) loves the meeting with him. But when the time of the death of a disbeliever approaches, he receives the evil news of Allah's torment and His Requital, whereupon nothing is more hateful to him than what is before him. Therefore, he hates the meeting with Allah, and Allah too, hates the meeting with him." He who said: We have had a rainfall due
to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah, he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars, and who said: We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such (star) disbelieved Me and affirmed his faith in the stars. (Sahih Muslim, Book 1, Faith, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadees No 132, Chapter 33: The Unbelief Of One Who Said: We Got Rainfall By The Movement (Of The Stars) http://www.mclean.faithweb.com).

If there were not a verse in the Book of Allah, I would have never narrated it to you.
