The Prophet’s (Peace be upon him) Eminence: (Nabi ki Azmat)

1) Verily We have sent thee in truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner; but of thee no question shall be asked of the Companions of the Blazing Fire. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah or the Heifer, verse 119).
2) But if they turn back, thy duty is to convey the Message. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 20 part).
3) Behold! Allah said: ‘Oh Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme.’ (Surah 3, Al-Imran, Verse 55 Part.)
4) The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: ‘Be’: and he was. The truth ‘comes’ from thy Lord alone; so be not of those who doubt. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, Verses 59-60).
5) No prophet could (ever) act dishonestly; if any person acts dishonestly he shall, on the day of judgement, restore what he had misappropriated;  then shall every soul receive its due, whatever it earned, and none shall be dealt with unjustly. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 161).
6) But He chooses of His Messengers whom He pleases, so believe in Allah and his messengers: and if ye believe and do right, ye have a great reward without measure. (Surah 3, Al-Imran, Verse 179 Part).
7) And We have sent thee as a Messenger to (instruct) mankind. (Surah 4, An-Nisa, Verse 79 Part).
8) For Allah hath sent down to thee the Book and wisdom and taught thee what thou knowest not (before).... (Surah 4 An-Nisa Verse 113 Part).
9) ....they said (in boast), ‘we killed Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah’ – but they killed him not, nor crucified him. Only a likeness of that was shown to them. (Surah 4 An-Nisa Verse 157 Part).
10) Messengers who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the Messengers, should have no plea against Allah: for Allah is exalted in power, wise.  (Surah 4 An-Nisa Verse 165).
11) ‘Oh Messenger! Proclaim the (Message) which hath been sent to thee from thy Lord.....and Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief) ....but sorrow thou not over (these) people without Faith’. (Surah 5 Al-Maida Verse 67 Part and Verse 68).
12) And behold! Allah will say: “Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, ‘take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah’?” he will say: ‘glory to Thee! Never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, Thou wouldst indeed have known it....’ (Surah 5 Al-Maida Verse 116 Part).
13) Before thee We sent (Messengers) to many nations, and We afflicted the nations with suffering and adversity, that they call (Allah) in humility. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 42).
14) We sent the Messengers only to give good news and to warn.... (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 48 Part).
15) Say: ‘I am forbidden to worship those – others than Allah- whom ye call upon.’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 56 Part).
16) But thy people reject it, though it is the Truth. Say, ‘not mine is the responsibility for arranging your affairs.’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 66).
17) Say: ‘No reward for this do I ask of you: this is but a reminder to the nations.’ (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 90 Part).
18) Follow what thou art taught by inspiration from thy Lord: there is no god but He: and turn aside from those who join gods with Allah. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 106).
19) If it had been Allah’s Will, they would not have taken false gods: but We made thee not one to watch over their doings, nor art thou set over them to dispose of their affairs. (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 107).
20) Likewise did We send for every Messenger and enemy.... (Surah 6, Al-An’am, Verse 112 Part).
21) Say: ‘Oh men! I am sent unto you all, as the Messenger of Allah, to Whom belongeth the dominions of the heavens and the earth; there is no god but He: it is He that giveth both life and death. (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 158 Part).
22) When some of them said! ‘Why do ye preach to a people whom Allah will destroy or visit with a terrible punishment?’ Said the preacher: ‘To discharge our duty to your Lord and perchance they may fear Him’. (Surah 7, Al-Ar’af, Verse 164).
23) Oh prophet! Sufficient unto thee is Allah – and unto those who follow thee among the believers. (Surah 8, Al-Anfal, Verse 64).
24) It is he Who hath sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to cause it to prevail over all religion, even though the pagans may detest (it). (Surah 9, At- Tauba, Verse 33).
25) And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity," (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 89).
26) Therefore expound openly what thou art commanded, and turn away from those who join false gods with Allah.  For sufficient are We unto thee against those who scoff,- (Surah 15, Al-Hijr, verse 94-95).
27) (We sent them) with Clear Signs and Scriptures; and We have sent down unto thee
(also) the Message; that thou mayest explain clearly to men what is sent for them, and that they may give thought. (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse 44).
28) One day We shall raise from all Peoples a witness against them, from amongst themselves: and We shall bring thee as a witness against these (thy people): and We have sent down to thee the Book explaining all things, a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims (Surah 16, An-Nahl, verse 89).
29) To every People have We appointed rites and ceremonies which they must follow: let them not then dispute with thee on the matter, but do thou invite (them) to thy Lord: for thou art assuredly on the Right Way (Surah 22, Al-Hajj, verse 67).
30) O ye messengers! Enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well acquainted with (all) that ye do. And verily this Brotherhood of yours is a single Brotherhood. And I am your Lord and Cherisher: therefore fear Me (and no other). (Surah 23, Al-Mu’minun, verses 51-52).
31) Say: "Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger. But if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance. The Messenger’s duty is   only to preach the clear (Message). (Surah 24, An-Nur, verse54).
32) But thee We only sent to give glad tidings and admonition. (Surah 25, Al-Furqan, verse 56).
33) It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. (Surah 26, Ash-Shuaraa, verse 2).
34) So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, and lower thy wing to the Believers who follow thee. Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, - (Surah 26, Ash-Shuaraa, verses 213-217).
35) It is true thou wilt not be able to guide every one whom thou lovest; but Allah guides those whom He will and He knows best those who receive guidance.(Surah 28, Al-Qasas, verse 56).
36) Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger,
rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practice iniquity. (Surah 28, Al-Qasas, verse 59).
37) O Prophet! Fear Allah, and hearken not to the Unbelievers and the Hypocrites: verily Allah is full of Knowledge and Wisdom. But follow that which comes to thee by inspiration
from thy Lord: for Allah is well acquainted with (all) that ye do. And put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verses 1-3)
38) Ye have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 21)
39) Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 40).
40) O Prophet! Truly We have sent thee as a Witness, a Bearer of Glad Tidings, and Warner,- And as one who invites to Allah’s (grace) by His leave, and as a lamp spreading light. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verses 45-46).
40) Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger - Allah has cursed them in this World and in the Hereafter, and has prepared for them a humiliating Punishment. (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verses 56-57).
41) Nay! He has come with the (very) Truth, and he confirms (the Message of) the messengers (before him). (Surah 37, AS-Saffat, verse 37).
42) “Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly."(Surah 38, Sad, verse 70).
43) And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not before) what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the (Qur´an) a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way, - (Surah 42, Al-Shura, verse 52).
44) Say: "I am no bringer of new-fangled doctrine among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I follow but that which is revealed to me by inspiration; I am but a Warner open and clear." (Surah 46, Al-Zukhruf, verse9).
45) We have truly sent thee as a witness, as a bringer of Glad Tidings, and as a Warner: (Surah 48, Al-Fatah, verse 8).
46) It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness. (Surah 48, Al-Fatah, verse28).
47) We know best what they say; and thou art not one to overawe them by force. So admonish with the Qur´an such as fear My Warning! (Surah 50, Qaf, verse 45).
48) So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. (Surah 51, Az-Zariyat, verses 54-55).
49) Those who resist Allah and His Messenger will be among those most humiliated. Allah has decreed: "It is I and My messengers who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength, able to
enforce His Will.(Surah 58, Al-Mujadilah, verses 20-21).
50) It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, that he may proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).(Surah 61, As-Saff, verse 9).
51) So I do call to witness what ye see, and what ye see not, that this is verily the word of an honoured messenger (Surah 69, Al-Haqqah, verses 38-40).
52) It is not required of thee (O Messenger) to set them on the right path, but Allah sets on the right path whom He pleaseth. Whatever of good ye give benefits your own souls, and ye shall only do so seeking the "Face" of Allah. Whatever good ye give, shall be rendered back to you, and ye shall not be dealt with unjustly. (Surah 2, Al-Baqarah, verse 272).
53) Say: If it be that your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your mates, or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline: or the dwellings in which ye delight- are dearer to you than Allah, or His Messenger, or the striving in His cause;- then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious.(Surah 9, Al-Taubah, verse 24).
54) The Prophet is closer to the Believers than their own selves, and his wives are their mothers. Blood-relations among each other have closer personal ties, in the Decree of Allah. Than (the Brotherhood of) Believers and Muhajirs: nevertheless do ye what is just to your closest friends: such is the writing in the Decree (of Allah... (Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 6).
55) O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving,Most Merciful.(Surah 33, Al-Ahzab, verse 59).
56) This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! (Surah 53, An-Najm, verse 56).
57) Then, in their wake, We followed them up with (others of) Our messengers: We sent after them Jesus the son of Mary, and bestowed on him the Gospel; and We ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy. But the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them: (We commanded) only the seeking for the Good Pleasure of Allah. But that they did not foster as they should have done. Yet We bestowed, on those among them who believed, their (due) reward, but many of them are rebellious transgressors. (Surah 57, Al-Hadid, verse 27).
58) Nun. By the Pen and the (Record) which (men) write,- Thou art not, by the Grace of thy Lord, mad or possessed.( Nay, verily for thee is a Reward unfailing And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.(Surah 68, Al-Qalam, verses 1 to 4).
59) O thou folded in garments! Stand (to prayer) by night, but not all night, Half of it, - or a little less, Or a little more; and recite the Qur´an in slow, measured rhythmic tones. Soon shall We send down to thee a weighty Message. Truly the rising by night is most potent for governing
(the soul), and most suitable for (framing) the Word (of Prayer and Praise). True, there is for thee by day prolonged occupation with manifold engagements: But keep in remembrance the name of thy Lord and devote thyself to Him whole-heartedly. (Surah 73, Al-Muzzammil, verses 1-8).
60) To thee have We granted the Fount (of Abundance). Therefore to thy Lord turn in Prayer and Sacrifice. (Surah 108, Al-Kausar, verses 1-2).
61) To you be your Way, and to me mine. (Surah 109, Al-Kafirun, verse 6)
62) We sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures. (Surah 21, Al-Anbiyaa, verse 107).
63) Have We not expanded thee thy breast?  And removed from thee thy burden. The which did gall thy back? - And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? (Surah 94, Al-Inshirah, verses 1 to 4).
64) Behold! Allah took the covenant of the prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and
Wisdom; then comes to you a messenger, confirming what is with you; do ye believe in him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." (Surah 3, Al-Imran, verse 81).
65) And pray in the small watches of the morning: (it would be) an additional prayer (or spiritual profit) for thee: soon will thy Lord raise thee to a Station of Praise and Glory! (Surah 17, Bani-Isra’il, verse 79).
66) We did indeed send, before thee, messengers to their (respective) peoples, and they came to them with Clear Signs: then, to those who transgressed, We meted out Retribution: and it was due from Us to aid those who believed. (Surah 30, Ar-Rum, verse 47).
67) So patiently persevere: for verily the promise of Allah is true: nor let those shake thy firmness, who have (themselves) no certainty of faith. (Surah 30, Ar-Rum, verse 60).
68) O Ye who believe! Put not yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger. But fear Allah. For Allah is He Who hears and knows all things. O ye who believe! Raise not your voices above the voice of the Prophet, nor speak aloud to him in talk, as ye may speak aloud to one another, lest your deeds become vain and ye perceive not. Those that lower their voices in the presence of Allah's Messenger, - their hearts has Allah tested for piety: for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward. (Surah 49, Al-Hujurat, verses 2-3).
69) Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else before me. 1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. 2. The earth has been made for me (and for my followers) a place for praying and a thing to perform Tayammum, therefore anyone of my followers can pray wherever the time of a prayer is due. 3. The booty has been made Halal (lawful) for me yet it was not lawful for anyone else before me. 4. I have been given the right of intercession (on the Day of Resurrection). 5. Every Prophet used to be sent to his nation only but I have been sent to all mankind. (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 7, Number 331: Book of Ablution with dust [Tayyammum]) (Islambase Publications).
70) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Allah has accepted my invocation to forgive what whispers in the hearts of my followers, unless they put it to action or utter it." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 46, Number 705: Book of Freeing Slaves) (Islambase Publications).
71) Narrated Masruq: I said to 'Aisha, "O Mother! Did Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) see his Lord?" Aisha said, "What you have said makes my hair stand on end! Know that if somebody tells you one of the following three things, he is a liar: Whoever tells you that Muhammad (Peace be upon him) saw his Lord, is a liar." Then Aisha recited the Verse: 'No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Courteous Well-Acquainted with all things.' (6.103) 'It is not fitting for a human being that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration or from behind a veil.' (42.51) 'Aisha further said, "And whoever tells you that the Prophet knows what is going to happen tomorrow, is a liar." She then recited: 'No soul can know what it will earn tomorrow.' (31.34) She added: "And whoever tell you that he concealed (some of Allah's orders), is a liar." Then she recited: 'O Apostle! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord....’ (5.67) 'Aisha added. "But the Prophet saw Gabriel in his true form twice." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 60, Number 378: Book of Prophetic Commentary on the Quran [Tafseer]) (Islambase Publications).

72) Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) never criticized any food (he was invited to) but he used to eat if he liked the food, and leave it if he disliked. (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 65, Number 320: Book of Food, Meals) (Islambase Publications).
73) Narrated Anas: I saw the Prophet (Peace be upon him) being served with soup and containing gourd and cured meat, and I saw him picking and eating the pieces of gourd. (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 7, Book 65, Number 348: Book of Food, Meals) (Islambase Publications).
74) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) said, "For every prophet there is one (special invocation (that will not be rejected) with which he appeals (to Allah), and I want to keep such an invocation for interceding for my followers in the Hereafter." (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 75, Number 317e: Book of Invocations) (Islambase Publications).
75) Narrated Anas: The most frequent invocation of The Prophet (Peace be upon him) was: "O Allah! Give to us in the world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire." (2.201) (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 75, Number 398: Book of Invocations) (Islambase Publications).
76) Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Apostle (Peace be upon him) never took revenge for his own self in any matter presented to him till Allah's limits were exceeded, in which case he would take revenge for Allah's sake. (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 8, Book 82, Number 836: Book of Punishment to Disbeleivers at War with Allah and His Apostle) (Islambase Publications).
77) Narrated Anas: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my shape. (Sahih Bukhari: Volume 9, Book 87, Number 123: Book of Interpretation of Dreams [Al-Ruya]) (Islambase Publications).
78) There is for every apostle a prayer which is granted, but every prophet showed haste in his prayer. I (Muhammad [PBUH]) have, however, reserved my prayer for the intercession of my Ummah on the Day of Resurrection, and it would be granted, if Allah so willed, in case of everyone amongst my Ummah provided he dies without associating anything with Allah. (Sahih Muslim Part I; Book of Faith; Chapter LXXXIV, page 134; 9th edition).
